Soniya uDSP Technlogy

Overview

Soniya has adopted the state-of-the-art software technologies in the multi-billion dollar mobile device management domain (Please see here for the market analysis). The end result is the formation of Soniya's Universal Device Service Platform (uDSP™) that provides a flexible and feature rich platform for rapid deployment of mobile applications and management of services as well as integration of varieties of devices.

SoniyaMobile™ is the 1st application created on top of uDSP™. SoniyaMobile (previous known as FamilyLink) is a world class GPS tracking application that won the award at 2005 CTIA show. It has serviced thousands of customers including Homeland security, Police, Private investigators, Fleet owners throughout the world.

Web 2.0 Universal Application Technology

Web2.0 applications are the future of the enterprise applications. Web2.0 gives the any application the look of the familiar desktop application for rich user experience. It has so far been used mainly for consumer oriented applications. SoniyaMobile v2.6 represents Soniya’s effort to implement the world class Web2.0 application using latest Web2.0 infrastructure developed by Google (Google Web Kit for example) and a suit of open source Web development platforms like Spring and Struts2. Software Platform Technology

Software platform is the foundation of building an application. Soniya’s own uDSP platform is a specialized platform targeting multi-billion dollar mobile device management domain. The domain involving integration of varieties of tracking sensors like RFID, GPS device and mobile phones with user interactions via varieties of communication protocols. Soniya’s uDSP platform is up to the challenge and enabled the rapid development of new mobile management applications. The following picture shows the block diagram of the uDSP platform ecosystem.

Advanced GIS Technology

For mobile asset management, location is the key. The richness of the Location based features is depending upon the understanding and acquisition of key GIS Technologies. Soniya is working with some key research groups to bring the latest award winning research to live applications in the key GIS areas like followings:

Fast routing in very large road networks (this is key for fleet management systems)
Feature rich Web 2.0 mapping applications to increase the real-time information output time
A feature rich GIS server is part of uDSP
